About BlackMilk Studios:

We’re a team of filmmakers with very strong track records and an unparalleled sense for authentic emotion, cinematic storytelling and epic visual style. We’re working to bring to life the moments we have always wanted to see on screen. Because nobody else is making them we decided to just do it ourselves.

About the team:

MacGregor:

Film Director/Cinematographer @BlackMilk Studios

Miguel de Olaso, aka MacgregorTM, is a film director, cinematographer, and car enthusiast based in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating with a degree in visual communications from the European University of Madrid Macgregor went on to write and direct a bunch of short films that somehow ended up wining a decent amount of awards at film festivals around the world. Not being able to make a decision whether to focus his career on cars or films he ended up wasting his money on both. But that is what he likes so who are we to judge him. In his spare time Mac enjoys traveling, the simple taste of a cold beer, and to write about himself in third person.

Ruairi Robinson:

Filmmaker/Cinematographer @BlackMilK Studios

Ruairi’s first short film, Fifty Percent Grey, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. His debut feature film “THE LAST DAYS ON MARS” (starring Liev Schreiber and Olivia Williams) was featured at directors Fortnight in the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. His proof of concept for “THE LEVIATHAN” sold to 20th Century Fox, with Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium Chappie) producing alongside Simon Kinberg (X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Martian, Cinderella, Star Wars). Ruairi loves robots, monsters, and cinematic storytelling, and is very disappointed we are living in a future where our cars tell us where to go, but stubbornly refuse to fly us there.
