  Exif 2.2

An open image file standard defined and controlled by JEITA (Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association) and JCIA (Japan Camera Industry Association). Exif 2.2 allows data relevant to shooting conditions ("tags") to be stored with each shot. These tags include sRGB range control, white balance mode, exposure mode, and exposure time.

EIZO monitors which are Exif 2.2-enabled can refer to these tags to display high quality images on-screen. In addition, printers which comply with this standard can utilize this information to produce print-outs which more accurately reflect the photographer's intentions.
