Precautions for using ScreenManager Pro for LCD on Multiple Monitors

Applicable Monitors: FlexScan L685EX
To control multiple monitors by ScreenManager Pro for LCD, the following graphics boards are required and the following setup procedures are required after installing the graphics board.

1. Graphics Board Conditions for Using ScreenManager Pro for LCD on Multiple Monitors

(Screen adjustment / setting, Auto Fine Contrast)
Separate resolutions for each monitor are available
WindowMovie mode Gamma correction and overlay on each video output1

1 Some graphics boards with dual output ports do not support gamma correction or overlay functions on the secondary output. Please run the test software "WindowMovie Checker" on each screen to make sure that your graphics board supports these functions.

2. Setup for Multiple Monitors
To use ScreenManager Pro for LCD on multiple monitors, the following setup procedures are required after installing the graphics board.

Display Properties: Windows 2000 / XP
1. Open Display Properties.
2. On the [Settings] tab, two or more monitor icons are displayed. Click the secondary monitor (other monitor used with the primary monitor) icon.
3. Click [Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor].

4. Windows desktop is displayed on the selected monitor screen.

If separate resolutions for each video output are available, multiple monitor icons are displayed on the [Settings] tab as shown in Fig. 1.
