Multi-Monitor feature in Power Mac G4 |
 |
This is to inform you about a Multi-Monitor feature in the Power Mac G4 (Models with the graphics board including both the ADC and the VGA ports).
1. Multi-Monitor
The Power Mac G4 offers multi-monitor support, which allows users to use two monitors by attaching them at the same time to both the ADC and VGA ports on a built-in graphics board. You can connect EIZO monitors with the VGA, and Apple monitors with the ADC.
 |
1-1. Video mirroring
Open the monitor control panel on each monitor screen to set both monitors to the same resolution and colors. Choose "Arrange" tab and click the check box of the mirroring option to set the "video mirroring".
(If the resolution and colors of both monitor screens are identical, you cannot click this check box.)
1-2. Extended desktop
Like the conventional multi-monitor with a built-in AGP and an add-on PCI graphics board, open the monitor control panel on each monitor screen to set the resolution and colors. Choose the "Arrange" tab and move the menu bar to the primary monitor icon.
<Multi-Monitor Setup>
Open the following window for a multi-monitor setup.
Mac OS 9: Apple menu > Control Panels > Monitors > Arrange
Mac OS X: Apple menu > System Preference > Display > Arrange |
