The dual panel LCD setup has increased productivity and significantly saved desk space throughout the company. October 11, 2002 -Joe Sura

Eizo Delivers Professional Displays To World Leader In Graphics Processors
FlexScan L685 LCDs provide an ergonomically sound solution for nVIDIA's training lab.Using the highest clarity flat panel displays is a necessity for nVIDIA, the leader in graphics processors and communications devices. Eizo Nanao is a leading manufacturer of professional quality, award winning CRT, LCD, plasma displays and other visual electronic products. It was only a matter of time before the two companies met.

When asked why nVIDIA chose Eizo displays, Kevin Tse, nVIDIA's Director of Technical Services, states, "When we compared Eizo with any other panels out there, it had the best picture quality."

nVIDIA is just one of the many leading corporations that have chosen Eizo based on the total display solution - superior service, support and a monitor that provides the highest quality available today. Eizo SlimEdge panels coupled with nVIDIA graphic cards provide the finest image quality and steadfast reliability for their employees.

Why nVIDIA Relies on Eizo Flat Panel Displays
EIZO displays are seen in every department throughout the nVIDIA campus."I met with an Eizo engineer two years ago at PlugFest in Japan. We started with one 18" L671 and two 15" L371 LCDs. I showed our CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang, and he was so impressed, he wanted one for himself," states KK Kitahama, nVIDIA's Product Manager.

Joe Sura, nVIDIA's VP of Information Technology says, "I like Eizo displays because of the thin bezel around the edge. We needed more desk space without expanding offices." Eizo was the first to market with the thin bezel design. Although there is competition in thin bezels today, Eizo firmly stands out with its superior product quality and support. Eizo designs and manufactures their displays under strict quality guidelines in their ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factories in Japan and continues to lead the industry with a very low product failure rate.

People love them. We can't get enough of them. Everyone wants two at heir desk. -Joe Sura, nVIDIAnVIDIA has adopted a standard where every employee will eventually have two flat panels. "The flat panels are not only better for your eyes, but they reduce power consumption as well," says Sura. The dual panel option also allows for better application flow as users can conveniently have multiple applications open without cluttering one display. "Eizo's LCDs save us space and the dual panel setup has increased productivity and is more convenient for everyone," says Sura.

Kevin Tse, Director of Technical Services, with one of the many dual panel setups.Eizo displays are relied upon by nVIDIA's IT specialists, design engineers, marketing department and testing labs, among other departments. "The displays have to be a high enough resolution that we can actually see and test our own graphics chips," Sura says. nVIDIA's processors are chosen worldwide by electronics companies as the core component of their entertainment and business solutions. One of the hottest video game consoles on the market, Microsoft® Xbox®, utilizes the nVIDIA Xbox Graphics Processing Unit (XGPU) to deliver the most intense, action-packed gaming available.

nVIDIA's corporate campus in Santa Clara, California, houses the design activities for architectural definition, hardware chip design, software development activities and human resources, finance and IT departments. nVIDIA employs 1,400 people worldwide and currently uses over 600 SlimEdge 18.1" LCDs and hundreds of T965 CRTs.
