| Loyens & Loeff: feel good at work thanks to EIZ |
| Loyens & Loeff is a partnership with offices
in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Arnhem and Eindhoven. It also has twelve
overseas branches. All in all, Loyens & Loeff employs 1,200 people,
120 of them partners or associates. Loyens & Loeff provides a
unique service, fully integrating legal, taxation and notarial services. |

Loyens
& Loeff had already switched over from 15" to 17" CRT
monitors made by a different manufacturer. These traditional monitors
take up a lot of space, provide a lower-quality picture and produce
more radiation and heat. In short, the demand for LCD monitors was
getting louder. A number of Loyens & Loeff employees evaluated
LCD monitors made by five different manufacturers. After exhaustive
testing, they advised the company's IT-committee to choose EIZO. "Everybody
was particularly enthusiastic about the stable picture of the EIZO
monitors - it's razor-sharp right across the screen," says John
Monnik. But that wasn't the only reason why Loyens & Loeff decided
on the EIZO L365. "The height is adjustable and that's the best
thing from the point of view of ergonomics and the work set-up. The
main power supply and the loudspeakers are also built in. That last
point is especially important when you consider our new intranet,
which offers audio effects," says Hans Ringeling. |

Loyens
& Loeff now has more than 150 EIZO LCD monitors and is entirely
satisfied with them. Everybody used to be hidden behind an enormous
CRT monitor but things are very different now. Given the positive
results, the company has now made 15" EIZO monitors the standard
throughout its world-wide organization.
Of course, Loyens & Loeff was pretty familiar with EIZO products.
"I was aware of EIZO from my experience of the market," says John
Monnik. "My preference was in any case for a well-known quality brand
such as EIZO, but EIZO's excellent price/performance ratio naturally
played a part in our decision. All in all, it's been a successful
project and we're very satisfied. So far there have been no malfunctions
and the new monitors contribute to ensuring a pleasant working climate.
There's a good reason why "Feel good at work" is one of our slogans." |
