Premium Edition Model
As a ColorEdge Premium Edition model, the CG221 offers the following benefits.
- Brightness and color compensation with EIZO's Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function for a Delta-E difference of 3 or less across the screen.
- 16-bit internal processing for grayscale rendering that is on a par with high-end CRT monitors.
- Monitor hood with sliding top cover and screen cleaner kit are bundled with the monitor.
|
Adobe RGB Coverage
The CG221 has an expanded color space that reproduces Adobe RGB, meaning it not only covers the sRGB color space supported by many standard monitors, but also CMYK color spaces used for printing. |
|
22.2-Inch Screen Supports 1920 × 1200 Resolution
The extra-wide 22.2-inch screen supports 1920 × 1200 resolution
(16:10 aspect ratio), meaning that it can display a two-page A4 spread
with no clipped edges. |
|
Factory Adjustment of Gamma
To ensure that the ColorEdge CG221 produces the most accurate and consistent color gradations possible, EIZO carefully measures and sets every shade of R, G, and B from 0 – 255 on the production line with the monitor's 12-bit Look-Up Table (LUT), to produce a monitor gamma value of 1.8. If a different value is preferred, the bundled ColorNavigator software can be used to assign a value ranging from 1.0 – 2.6 in increments of 0.1. |
|
ColorNavigator Calibration Software
This EIZO-developed software comes bundled with ColorEdge models and
offers 12-bit hardware calibration when used with a GretagMacbeth
measurement device. |
|
Macintosh ADC Support
Supports the Macintosh ADC (Apple Display Connector) port with an ADC-DVI converter (sold separately). |
