The front panel of the panel mount configuration is IP65-rated meaning it can withstand dust ingress and is protected against low-pressure water jets.
These models are built for 24-hour use and are backed by a 2-year warranty. They use an environmentally-friendly white LED backlight. The cabinets do not contain any ventilation holes and the perimeter of the control buttons are sealed, making them impervious to liquids and dust.
For use as information terminals in a factory setting, several come with touch panels that accept input from both a bare and a gloved hand and can withstand dust and liquids.
