Stable Brightness

Stable brightness is important for correct color representation. All EIZO LCD monitors, including the ColorEdge series, utilize a function developed and patented by EIZO for brightness stabilization. A sensor stabilizes the brightness level within minutes of start-up or waking from the energy saving mode. It establishes and compensates, also automatically, changes to the brightness caused by temperature fluctuations. Other CRT and LCD monitors require a 1 to 2 hour warm-up phase before achieving brightness stability. These monitors are also easily influenced in their brightness due to temperature fluctuations.
