The colors on an LCD monitor compared with a CRT monitor appear to be pale and washed out. EIZO therefore carefully selects a color filter and backlight for its monitors. ColorEdge LCD monitors thereby cover a color space (gamut), approximately equal to that of a high-end CRT monitor.
