EIZO Eco Products
An in-house qualification system introduced in 2002 with the purpose of ensuring our products meet an internally established set of criteria for environmental consciousness. These criteria include manufacture using lead-free solder and chrome-free steel plates, inclusion of a user's manual printed on recyclable, chlorine-free paper, and compliance with the environmental requirements of leading standards in Europe, the U.S. and Japan. The current label, EIZO Eco Products 2009, includes all of the provisions of the previous labels, but with new stipulations such as, an EIZO Eco Products 2009 labeled monitor must not consume any power when turned off, consume less than 1.5 watts in power save mode, and that its eco profile be available on eizo.com.
