The monitor reproduces 95% of the Adobe RGB color space so it can display most colors in a digital photo taken in Adobe RGB mode. Furthermore, it also has an sRGB: sRGB mode to accurately reproduce colors in this narrower but commonly used color space, such as those seen on web pages or digital photos taken in sRGB mode.

Wide Color Gamut

Fast Response Time
An overdrive circuit is included to reduce gray-to-gray response time to 5 ms and ensure that movies and other moving images look clean and sharp with an absolute minimum of blurring and ghosting.

Placement Flexibility
The FlexScan SX2262W comes with a "FlexStand" that offers tilt, swivel, 90° rotation for portrait mode viewing, and 225 mm of height adjustment. Its innovative, bearing-less design reduces mechanical wear and the amount of torque required to adjust height.

High Resolution Screen
The FlexScan SX2262W features a 1920 × 1200 native resolution. Compared to the 1680 × 1050 native resolution of most 22-inch monitors, this is approximately 30% more information in the same amount of screen space.

Scale Non-Native Resolutions to Full Screen
When working at less than native resolution or aspect ratios other than 16:10, you can use the scaling function to enlarge your work proportionally or expand it to fill the screen. You can then smooth or sharpen the image in five increments.

Three Inputs Including DisplayPort
Connect with up to three PCs via the monitor's dual DVI-I inputs which accept digital and analog signals, and the DisplayPort (digital) input terminals. DisplayPort is next-generation connectivity that transmits both video and audio signals.

Colorblindness Simulation Software
To avoid creating inconveniences and even dangers for those with color vision deficiency, care must be taken when choosing color schemes for everyday items such as maps, road signs, web sites, and power indicator lights. With the bundled UniColor Pro, an EIZO-developed software, the monitor can instantly simulate how still and moving images appear to people with color blindess vision deficiency, and do so much faster than software-based tools that slow down with larger files.

10-Bit Simultaneous Display

The monitor can display 10-bit color from a 16-bit look-up table via its DisplayPort input*. This is more than 1 billion colors shown simultaneously which is 64 times greater than the 16.7 million colors of 8-bit display. The result is even smoother color gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colors.
* A graphics board and software which support 10-bit output are also necessary for 10-bit display
Optimized Brightness with Auto EcoView
Brightness and Color Uniformity with DUE
Fluctuations in brightness and chroma on different parts of the screen are characteristic of LCD panels. Generally, the larger the screen, the more noticeable these uniformity errors become. EIZO's Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) helps to compensate for these errors, resulting in a much more uniform image.

Preset Modes
Different types of creative work require different color settings. To ensure you get the right settings without having to fiddle with the OSD menu, this monitor comes with three customizable preset modes for assigning your own values for brightness, contrast, color temperature, and gamma. In addition, Text, Picture, Movie, and sRGB modes are also included. Modes switch automatically with the bundled ScreenManager Pro for LCD software, or manually with the press of a button.
Energy and Environmental Efficiency Index

A user-activated EcoView Index displays the level of power savings and equivalent amount of CO2 reduction compared to using the monitor without Auto EcoView activated and with the screen set at a brightness of 100%.
Detailed Color Control
The OSD menu and bundled ScreenManager Pro for LCD software offers adjustment of brightness, gamma, saturation, hue, gain and color temperature from 4,000 K to 10,000 K in 500 K increments. For fine-tuning of even a single color, the hue and saturation settings for red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow can be adjusted independently.
Simple Color Matching with EIZO EasyPIX
The EIZO EasyPIX color matching tool is ideal for digital SLR camera users looking to match colors between their monitors and photo prints. With the EasyPIX software you can match the monitor's color and brightness with that of the photo paper and then create a monitor profile with the bundled EX1 color sensor. No expertise in color management is required and the profile can be shared with image retouching software to ensure accurate results when printing.
More Effective Software Calibration

IIn creative design work, Software Calibration is typically necessary to achieve accurate color values. The FlexScan SX2262W, however, already provides extensive color adjustment functions in the OSD menu. This means that any software calibration you do will help to achieve a very precise grayscale ramp for improved display of dark tone details as well as overall color accuracy.
Commitment to Quality
While outsourcing production is now common practice in the monitor industry, EIZO continues to manufacture its products the same way it has throughout its 40 year history – with its own staff at its own factories. This allows EIZO to keep close control over production quality and offer the industry's only 5-year manufacturer's limited warranty.
Brightness and Color Temperature Stability
To ensure proper display of color, the FlexScan SX2262W comes equipped with patented EIZO technology that stabilizes the monitor's brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. Furthermore, a new temperature sensor detects and automatically suppresses changes in color and brightness caused by fluctuations in the surrounding temperature.
