1968 March Company founded as Hakui Electronic Corporation in Hakui, Japan.
1973 March Company name changed to Nanao Corporation.
1979 May Nanao Electric Corporation (Nanao, Japan) becomes a subsidiary through share acquisition.
1981 April Plant built in Matto (now Hakusan), Japan; operations begin.
1984 January Wako Electronics Corporation (Hakui, Japan) becomes a subsidiary through share acquisition.
September Hitec Associates Ltd. founded as a sales subsidiary for the European market (renamed Eizo Corporation in January 1990).
1985 May Overseas sale of display monitors under the EIZO brand name begins in Europe.
September Nanao USA Corporation founded in California, USA (now Eizo Nanao Technologies Inc.). Sale of display monitors under the NANAO brand name begins in North America.
1989 May Building completed to accommodate Head Office and Research and Development facility within company grounds in Matto (now Hakusan), Japan.
1991 March Plant built on company grounds in Matto (now Hakusan), Japan.
1992 September Eizo Sweden AB in Sweden (now Eizo Nordic AB) founded
Sale of LCD monitors for video game arcades begins.
1993 October Sales office in Tokyo, Japan established.
December ISO 9002 certification acquired.
1994 January Sales office in Osaka, Japan established.
September Sales office in Fukuoka, Japan established.
1996 September Sales office in Nagoya, Japan established.
1997 April Irem Software Engineering Inc. founded in Matto (now Hakusan), Japan.
September ISO 9001 certification (PDF: 905 KB) acquired.
1998 February Eizo Support Network Corporation in Matto (now Hakusan), Japan founded and begins offering after-sales service at 7 offices in Japan.
September ISO 14001 (PDF: 469 KB) certification acquired.
October Nanao Agency Corporation (Hakusan, Japan) becomes a subsidiary through share acquisition.
1999 April Nanao Corporation and Eizo Corporation merge (new company name is Eizo Nanao Corporation).
2002 March Eizo Nanao Corporation listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2004 March LCD TV "FORIS.TV" business started.
April Nanao Electric Corp. and Wako Electronics Corp. integrated as Eizo Nanao MS Corporation.
October EIZO Galleria Tokyo opened.
2005 April Achieved ISO 13485 (PDF: 567 KB) Medical Device Quality Management Certification.
July Acquisition of Eizo Business Unit of EXCOM AG to make it 100% owned subsidiary Eizo Nanao AG.
October EIZO Galleria Sendai opened.
December EIZO Galleria Osaka opened.
2006 February EIZO Galleria Fukuoka opened.
November EIZO Galleria Tokyo moved and reopend as Galleria Ginza.
2007 February Tech Source, Inc. acquired.
June EIZO GmbH established in Germany.
October Medical monitor business acquired from Siemens A&D, Germany.
